'Our Day Out' by Willy Russel, directed by George Gough. A merger with our youth section. 'Are you supposed to be in charge of this lot?' When Mrs Kay's class set out on a coach trip to Conway Castle, it is a celebration of the joys and pains of being fourteen and away from school. But highlights what a group of 'no-hope' kids from the back-streets of Liverpool can expect from life beyond a rare "day out"? The play is Key Stage 3 Literature for some schools.

1947 - 2007 FLT 60th Anniversary In 1947 a small band of enthusiastic indivduals calling themselves 'The Fellowship Players' staged a production of Terence Rattigan's 'Flare Path' in Holy Trinity Church Hall. 60 years on and we are still going strong, just a few yards from where it all started and now calling ourselves Formby Little Theatre. To celebrate the occasion we are reprising the play that started it all, so many years ago. We are lucky to have a thriving youth section once again and loyal support from you, our patrons and 'Friends of FLT'. Click to read: Message from our President, Lesley Sharpe |
